A life rooted in family and service.

Born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, Bob discovered a love of music early in life.

By his early twenties, he was a professional musician, traveling across the United States with his band, Jade 50’s. He married Julie at age 25, and they had four children: Paul, Lauren, Connor, and Tyler.

After his music career, Bob spent 36 years in commercial real estate at CBRE. He also served as a church deacon, led youth work trips, volunteered with hospice, and supported causes that mattered to his family.

His experience with pancreatic cancer.

Bob was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September 2016. He received chemotherapy at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and later participated in a clinical trial at MD Anderson in Texas.

He remained hopeful throughout treatment. Bob passed away in October 2017 with his family beside him.

His family established The Reaumond Foundation the following year, continuing his concern for others through research funding and support for patients and families.

Bob’s Encore.

“This foundation is our way of extending his love and compassion. This is ‘Bob’s Encore.’”
