Why I fight?

Many people in my family have been personally touched by cancer. Unfortunately, I believe almost everyone can say the same thing. But the reason I am most excited to support the Reaumond Foundation, is because my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer more than 10 years ago. Through a momentous fight involving 2 surgeries, chemo therapy, and most of all a reliance upon an ever deepening faith, he is living in remission today. I’m fighting both to increase the funding for pancreatic research, a cause that needs no further explanation. But I also want to spread a story of hope and survival, because this disease doesn’t always win. And I believe with increased funding and additional stories of hope, we will watch the stats change, and we will start to witness more pancreatic cancer patients turn into cancer survivors.
