Why I fight?

The Reaumond family has been a part of my life as early as I can remember growing up with Tyler Reaumond as my best friend. His Dad, Bob Reaumond, was a great guy and Dad for Tyler. He had a very positive impact on my life. It is very upsetting that he died from pancreatic cancer too early in life. I'll never forget when I became injured in high school, which knocked me out of my senior year sports seasons, Bob Reaumond came over to my house to show his support.

This shows the great amount of empathy that Bob had and a great example of his character, to go out of his way to make someone else feel better. This is the experience Bob gave his family and friends his entire life. I am boxing to give back for the positive impact Bob and the Reaumond family has had on my life and to fund important research for fighting pancreatic cancer. By boxing, I want to raise awareness and do my part to help save lives.

Additionally, through my participation in this boxing event, I aim to shed light on the importance of early detection and treatment, while proudly representing United National Life and our UNL Cancer Shield policy, which provides crucial financial support to those battling this disease. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the fight against pancreatic cancer and give individuals the best opportunity to overcome it.
